Hi, I’m Jesse Fankushen.  As a storyteller, I'm drawn to stories of social justice and those whose work has often gone unrecognized.

My background as both a media producer and a university lecturer means I know how to translate big ideas into engaging, accessible narratives.  Across my career, I’ve produced hundreds of videos, podcasts, and worked on digital campaigns. I’ve stood in front of hundreds of college students and given lectures on a wide variety of film topics, from production to critical studies.

I have proven success working cross-departmentally with editorial, sales, publicity, art and marketing teams.  My projects come in on time and on budget. My strengths also include adaptability and maintaining a positive attitude.  I’m passionate about collaboration, communication, and getting the job done.

I'm currently teaching myself AI storytelling tools, and am developing an AI radio series that pays homage to the golden age of radio and film noir.

When I'm not working, I take joy and meaning in time with my family, and being a father to my young son.  We're often out and about, exploring the Bay Area.
